Profile of the programme:Profile of Landscape Architecture program aims towards planning and design of an urban and a rural landscape. Graduates achieve complex knowledge of historical and theoretical foundations of a garden design and a landscape architecture along with environmental awareness.
The graduates are capable of creative manipulation with terrene, water, vegetation, buildings and also with art, technical and natural features in a process of making an environment.

Study program Landscape Architecture was awarded the academic year 2013/2014 international accreditation IFLA
(International Federation of Landscape Architects).
Key learning outcomes: The ability of planning, designing and planning of cultural landscapes.
Comprehensive knowledge of the historical and theoretical roots of garden art and landscape architecture.
Comprehensive knowledge of deep biological basis of the visual grouping of plants and ecological thinking.
The ability to pursue the profession of landscape architect authorized under Act 360/92.
Knowledge of the construction of small buildings.
Knowledge of the Design and Improvement of Public Open Space.
Occupational profile:After a completion of required length of work practice and an examination, the graduates are prepared to become authorized architects (under Act 360/92 Sb).
The graduates can also develop their professional skills in various institutions and government authorities. Additional education also enables them to work as research workers and lecturers.
Graduation requirements:Min. 120 ECTS, state final exam, defence of the master's thesis.
Access to further studies:Successful graduates may proceed to doctoral study programme.

To obtain 60 ECTS credits per academic year, students should choose courses from any other study programme taught at the university.
