Aims of the course:The course presents the latest findings in the field of organic viticulture and wine combination of lectures by experts from practice and thematic excursions to farming enterprises in terms of ecological viticulture.
Course contents:
1.Ecological viticulture and winemaking in the Czech republic (allowance 2/0)
a.The definition of integrated and organic production.
b.Statutory regulations for organic production.
c.Professional associations in the country.

2.Ecological viticulture in abroad (allowance 2/0)
3.Protection against fungal diseases in terms of organic production (allowance 2/0)
4.Protection against pests in terms of organic production (allowance 2/0)
5.Treatment of soil in the organic production (allowance 2/0)
6.PIWI varieties in the ecological viticulture. (allowance 2/0)
7.Winemaking in the ecological conditions. (allowance 6/0)
8.Technical visits (allowance 10/0)

Assessment methods:The course is completed a written and oral exam. The written part includes answers to the 3 questions in the duration of 45 minutes. Answers to the questions are then consulted by oral examination. After passing a written and oral test is stamped.
