Aims of the course:To make students acquainted with theoretic principles and practical applications in the field of quality assessments and quality management, principal quality characteristics of fruit, vegetables and their food products and procedures of quality assurance. Attain knowledge of principles of management quality and competence of internal auditor of quality management systems.
Course contents:
1.Developments in quality management and importance of quality care for producers and consumers. (allowance 1/0)
2.Fundamental terms and principles of quality management. (allowance 2/0)
3.International and national organization and activities in the field of quality. (allowance 1/0)
4.Creation of management quality in agreement with standard ISO 9001. (allowance 4/0)
5.Economic importance quality management, scheduling and improvement of quality. (allowance 2/0)
6.Measurement and tools for analysis in quality systems. (allowance 2/0)
7.Statistical inspection in quality systems. (allowance 2/0)
8.Principles of standardization - standards of quality and standard - setting activity. (allowance 1/0)
9.Nutritional and physical parameters of fruit and vegetables quality. (allowance 1/0)
10.Risk factors of fruit and vegetables. (allowance 1/0)
