Aims of the course:Students obtain basic knowledge on grape vine protection, the ability to determine important pest and beneficial organisms. They will be able to recommend control measures of pests.
Course contents:
1.Morphology and physiology of insects and other importance animals (allowance 1/0)
2.Reproduction and development of insects (allowance 1/0)
3.Insects and plants, symptoms (allowance 1/0)
4.Methods of monitoring and pest control (allowance 1/0)
5.Importance grape vine pest and control possibilities (allowance 3/0)
6.Importance grape vine pest and beneficial animals, determination (allowance 0/4)
7.Abiotic grapevine disorders (allowance 1/0)
8.Virus and viruslike diseases of grapevine, bacterial diseases (allowance 2/0)
9.Fungal diseases of grapevine (allowance 2/0)
10.Principles and methods of plant disease control (allowance 2/0)
11.Charakteristics of plant pathogens and plant protection products (allowance 0/3)

-Ability of symptoms to identify and isolate pathogens vines
