Aims of the course:The aim is to acquaint students with the principles of modern machines used in viticulture. At the same time learn them how to make the selection of machines and assembly lines in machinery for wine-growing businesses of various sizes.
Course contents:
1.Introduction to the course (allowance 1/0)
 
a.The definitions, methods of cultivation (conventional, integrated and organic),operations, agro period, production and technical aspects during planting the vineyard

2.Vineyard tractors (allowance 2/0)
 
a.The characteristics, construction requirements

3.Mechanization for soil preparation before planting vines (allowance 2/0)
 
a.Mouldboard plows, miner plows, rotary plows, spade plows, cultivators depth

4.Mechanization for planting seedlings of grapevine (allowance 2/1)
 
a.The general requirements, hand tools, drills

5.Mechanization for the construction of retaining structures (allowance 2/0)
 
a.Types of supporting structures, characteristics of the materials, hand tools, equipment zatloukací, press-posts, to develop and tension wires, anchoring the outer columns

6.Mechanization for cutting vines (allowance 2/0)
 
a.The principles of cutting, hand tools, pneumatic and electric pruner, tools for prepruning

7.Mechanization for shredding and mulching vines (allowance 1/1)
 
a.The requirements and distribution of mulching, mulches with horizontal and vertical axis of rotation

8.Mechanization of fertilization (allowance 0/2)
 
a.The importance of fertilization, the distribution of spreaders, manure spreaders, mineral fertilizer spreaders

9.Mechanization for tillage and culture (allowance 0/2)
 
a.Partition of mechanization by the nature of the operation

10.Mechanization of chemical protection (allowance 2/2)
 
a.Variant of chemicals sprayers, herbicide frames, recycling systems

11.Mechanization for carrying out the work of Green (allowance 2/0)
 
a.The distribution and importance of individual operations

12.Mechanization for harvesting grapes (allowance 2/1)
 
a.Partially mechanized harvesting of container harvesters, trailers, tanks, field presses, fully mechanized harvesting

The course is finished with credit test (maximum points for test 20, for credit is necessary to have min. 16 points).
