Aims of the course:Basic knowledge of the design of wood structures, building foundations, technological processes in the manufactures of wooden buildings, processes for the implementation of complementary activities, building physics in timber construction. Machinery for the manufacture and assembling wooden buildings, logistics process of wooden buildings manufactures, economy of design. Low energy and passive wooden buildings.
Course contents:
1.Basis of construction design, materials, construction details in relation to technology, manufacturing and building-up. (allowance 2/2)
2.Foundation of wooden buildings - technology, types of foundations and details. (allowance 2/2)
3.Stability of construction - anchoring, bracing in terms of technological processes during the implementation. (allowance 2/2)
4.Technological procedures and adequate construction of floors, walls, ceilings, roofs. (allowance 2/2)
5.Building Physics - moisture, steam, air permeability of building envelope in terms of implementation and technology of assembling of prefabricated structures. (allowance 2/2)
6.Technology of pallet parts from one side sheathed, sheathing on both sides. (allowance 2/2)
7.Technology installation of windows, doors, staircases. Built-in furniture. (allowance 2/2)
8.Technology installation wiring, plumbing, heating, ventilation. (allowance 2/2)
9.Fire hazard principles and details. (allowance 2/2)
10.Control of sound transmission. (allowance 2/2)
11.The machinery of most used methods of production and assembling of wooden buildings. (allowance 2/2)
12.Logistics process of wooden buildings manufactures. (allowance 2/2)
13.The economy of design, manufacture and assembling of wooden buildings. (allowance 2/2)
14.Low energy and passive buildings. (allowance 2/2)
