Aims of the course:Students ought to learn anatomical and physiological knowledge about man to dimensional and functional correct creation of specialised furniture and wood buildings, with the respect of anthropological and psychological demands according to the gender, age, races, culture, and divisions in dimensional and functional fitting and comfort.
Course contents:
1.Ergonometry (allowance 0/0)
a.Development of anthropometric methods for practical exercise. Anthropometrical standardization.
b.Anatomical speciality of different working and resting body positions and their changes. Phyziological functions musculosceletal system, defects of posture.
c.Tests of psychical comfort and individual specificity of users, including of territorial behaviour.
d.Methods of canons (quaver, gold standard, gabarital). Somatographical method of evaluation of furniture design (superficial and moveable mannequin, spatial and computer mannequin, living persons).
e.Anthropometric approaches, variability of measurements of human body and its parts, control sample. Ergonomical measurements according to the ISO 7250 standards.
f.Training of measurement of ergonomical dimensions for constructing.
g.Training of measurement of ergonomical dimensions for constructing.
h.Choosing of basic type dimension for constructing of some furniture size type according to the solved problem. Assesment of tolerent interlude, creation of size types, their number, and percentage of population occurrence.
i.Pursuit with the anthropometrical information in different data bases (collective characteristic versus individual matrix of measurement).
j.Satisfection of 90% of population, theoretical calculation. Further creation of size types from the constructive ergonomical dimensions.
k.Other examples of using anthropometrical standardization for designing of working places. Dividig into groups and setting of project themes.
l.Consultation within projects working.
m.Consultation within projects working.
n.14. Public presentation of projects, theirs opposing and evaluating.

-Interconnection of true knowledge with virtual domain of faultily concepts for interrelation between man and furniture.

-Orientation problems in orthopedics in relation to the production of furniture
-The ability to use the acquired knowledge in practice

Assessment methods:Credit for minimmally 80% of course attendence and participation on the project. If the requirements shloud not be fulfilled, there will be oral interview of knowledge from lectures and training.
