Profile of the programme:The fundamental emphasis field Design furniture is placed on balancing artistic skills, responsiveness to the current needs of society with the technical and technological knowledge in the field of furniture production. Designing the interior included in the program for understanding and verification of complex relationships in the application of furniture in the interior, the program is also complemented by a solitary product design elements.

Occupational profile:During their studies, graduates will gain skills for independent creative work, work in a team as a team, managing a small company, presenting the results of their own work and increased confidence of theoretical background knowledge of the history and relationships.
The graduate can work as a standalone Designer - Designer furniture by furniture or smaller producers in the work of the development team of major furniture manufacturers in the process of furniture design and production preparation. It can also be applied in the design and furnishing of interiors on the basis of professional specifications.
Graduation requirements:Min. 180 ECTS, state final exam, defence of the bachelor thesis.
Access to further studies:Successful graduates may proceed to master's study programme.
