Profile of the programme:The aim of study is to prepare professionals to manage natural resources in countries of tropical and subtropical zones, with an emphasis on practical management of biological, technical and socio-economic specificities of the region. Graduates will be employed in preparing and implementing projects in the fields of forestry, nature conservation and landscape management (partly in agricultural production), in services, manufacturing, education at all levels, but also in the control range of education activities, etc. They will also apply in Czech forest-agricultural environment.

Abitity to take care for woody plants with respect to their ecophysiological and aestethic characteristics
Ability to recognize, determine, distinguish and systematize various biotic and abiotic objects
Ability to execute laboratory experiments

Knowledge of laws connected with the urban green
Occupational profile:Graduates will be able to determine and assess various functions of a woody plant, including dysfunctions caused by abiotic and biotic factors, and to take appropriate measures to improve its condition. Besides, they will learn to detect and classify the human impact on the environment and woody plants and their populations, and propose conceptual remedies. Graduates will be able to apply theoretical knowledge to normative, organizational, design, technical and technological procedures in arboriculture: to propose, design, and implement measures to maintain woody vegetation by differentiated and environment-friendly biotechnological methods. Graduates will be prepared for a wide variety of positions both in the state and private sector.
Graduation requirements:Min. 180 ECTS, state final exam, defence of the bachelor thesis.
