Aims of the course:Student will write a bachelor's thesis on a chosen topic corresponding with her/his study program, using the knowledge and skills acquired during the study.
Course contents:
1.Selection of a thesis topic, consultation with a supervisor of the thesis, determination of principles for the thesis elaboration, filling thesis form in UIS MENDELU by the thesis supervisor (allowance 0/0)
2.Literature review -- study of literature related to the thesis topic. Review will be used for the purpose of elaboration of chapters: Introduction, Literature Review, Material and Methods, and Discussion (allowance 0/0)
3.The preparation of the methodology, consultations with the supervisor of the thesis (allowance 0/0)
4.Data collection, consultations with the supervisor of the thesis (allowance 0/0)
5.Data analysis and interpretation of the results, consultations with the supervisor of the thesis (allowance 0/0)
6.The elaboration of the diploma thesis in a standard structure: (allowance 0/0)
- introduction to the issue of the thesis topic
b.Aim of the Thesis
- clear and brief statement of thesis objectives
c.Literature Review
- review of literature related to the thesis topic
- a detailed description of methods applied in the thesis (when, where, how)
- the results obtained by the author of the thesis
- interpretation of the results
- may contain assumptions and speculation
- confrontation of student's results with results from other studies
- brief summary of the main findings of the thesis

- a list of references cited in the text of the thesis

7.Elaboration of the thesis summary containing a brief description of the thesis (aim, methods, results, conclusion) (allowance 0/0)
8.Submission of the completed thesis and the summary to the relevant department (allowance 0/0)
