Aims of the course:The aim of the course is to apprise the students of the basics of project works in building construction using AutoCAD systems. Students will get a complex overview of design documentation creation during the semester. After completion of the course students will have the skills to process drawings in digital form skills and to use AutoCAD to draw, edit and print vector data and apply the acquired knowledge in the processing of theses.
Course contents:
1.1. Introduction to the methods of drawing in AutoCad software
2. Coordinates systems, Units, 2D Orthographic Drawings
3. Basic drawing techniques
4. Editing, Hatch Pattern, Ribbons
5. Dimensioning, Auxiliary view
6. Using Tools, Using Layers
7. Working in Model Space I - Blocks
8. Working in Model Space II -- Model Space Limits
9. Drawing a plot plan, Working with Text
10. An assignment -- part 1.
11. Working with Layout
12. An assignment -- part 2.
13. Plotting Techniques
14. Sharing data between AutoCAD and other applications
