Aims of the course:Practical approaches to tree diagnostics (Practical assessment of trees, special surveys, creation of care plan for trees).
Course contents:
1.Subject introduction and stress ecology of trees (allowance 0/2)
2.The importance of insects in arboriculture and in this subject (allowance 0/2)
3.Importance of fungi in arboriculture and in this subject (phytopathological survey) (allowance 0/2)
4.The possibilities of maps creation (allowance 0/2)
5.First Colloquium (justification of area selection) (allowance 0/2)
6.Practical demonstration of rating tree (taxonomical and mensurational charakteristics) (allowance 0/2)
7.Practical demonstration of rating tree (qualitative attributes of trees) (allowance 0/2)
8.The most important insect species for practice (arboriculture) (allowance 0/2)
9.The most important fungi species for practice (arboriculture) (allowance 0/2)
10.Second colloquium (presentation of the project development process) (allowance 0/2)
11.Practical demonstration ratings trees - qualitative evaluation attributes (vitality, health status ...) (allowance 0/2)
12.Practical demonstration ratings trees - design interventions and specialized surveys (management plan) (allowance 0/2)
13.Work on the project and its finalization (allowance 0/2)
