Aims of the course:The goal is to acquaint students with problems of land consolidation. Students will gain basic knowledge about the history, legal relationships to land and the legal provisions related to this issue. Through exercise you learn the basic skills and basic procedures for settling claims of owners and procedures in designing the new structure of land resources.

1.History of Land Consolidation in Czech lands (allowance 2/2)
2.The development and registration of the ownership of land (allowance 2/2)
3.Land consolidation and legislation (allowance 6/0)
a.Law on Land Registry
b.The law on land consolidation and land offices
c.Act registration of ownership rights to land
d.The Law on the Protection of Agricultural Land Resources

4.Maps, map data, analysis of the current state of the territory (allowance 4/4)
5.Claims of owners, price of land, a list of demands (allowance 2/10)
a.Distance of land
b.The rules for the exchange of property rights in land

6.Analysis of transport and water system, the landscape and environment (allowance 4/4)
7.Methodology for solving complex land consolidation (allowance 8/10)

Learning outcomes and competences:
Generic competences:

Specific competences:
-Ability to identify the information resources of land consolidation adjustment
-Ability to understand cadastral maps.
-Ability to understand the basic legislative norms regulating the process of land consolidation adjustment and their implementation
-Skills to analyze the current state of accessing the landscape

Assessment methods:evaluation of participation in seminars (compulsory ) and lectures
submission of 2 seminar works during the semester
final written examination -- 25 minutes written test, participation on test is compulsory, at least 65 % of the all questions must be answered
final oral examination about land consolidation (max. 30 minutes)
