Aims of the course:Knowledge about the information on the historical development of the relationship between man and environment. Knowledge of basic environmental and related terms. Ability formulation of own opinions on environmental issues. Basic knowledge about global environmental problems and the application of the principle of sustainable development. Knowledge of basic legal and economic instruments of environmental protection, environmental aspects of agriculture and tools of sustainable consumption and production. Ability to make requests of environmental information to mandatory authorities.

Assessment methods:Credit: 1) participation in exercises at least 75%, 2) oral presentation on given topic - 10% of the final assessment, 3) final test (10 questions, at least 60% of points must be obtained) - 10% of the final assessment.
Combined exam (content of lectures) - 1) written part (20 questions - 60 minutes at least 60% points must be obtained) - 40% of the final evaluation, oral part (15 minutes - 40% of the final assessment).
