Aims of the course:The aim of this course is to gain knowledge of basic technical standards which will be necessary for the students in their further studies as well as principles of engineering drawing, both computer and manual. The students will acquire design skills required for manual and computer processing of technical documentation of landscape engineering and planning.
Course contents:
1.Technical standardization. Construction drawings. Methods of technical imaging. (allowance 2/2)
2.Basic imaging rules for constructions, water facilities and landscape buildings and constructions (dimensioning, horizontal projection, vertical section, views, detail drawings). (allowance 4/8)
3.Field engineering drawings. Situation plans. Imaging of engineering structures (water supply, sewerage, gas ducts, transport network, electric line, water structures. (allowance 2/6)
4.Drawing of concrete, metal and wooden structures. Floor. (allowance 2/2)
5.Topographic surfaces, basic concepts and methods of imaging. (allowance 2/4)
6.Basic topographic tasks, practical application. (allowance 2/6)
7.Computer graphics. (allowance 14/28)

Assessment methods:Submitting 12 technical designs during the semester. Submission of water tank project. Practical examination of the use of CAD program. Written exam (five open-ended questions) and oral exam (debate on the questions written examination).
