Aims of the course:Goal of subject: Getting knowledge of General Geology Fundamentals (Geochemistry Fundamentals, Rockforming Minerals, Main Rocks in CR), Dynamic Geology (Endogenic and Exogenic geological forces activity), Applying Agriculture Geology, Fundamentals of Geomorphology, Hydrogeology and Technical Geology. Geology represented as an important subject of site evaluation.
Course contents:
1.Essentials of Geology Science, Composition of Earth crust -- macroelements, microelements (allowance 2/2)
2.Overview of main rock forming minerals and their properties (allowance 8/8)
3.Overview of main rocks in the Czech Republic , their properties and occuring (allowance 8/10)
4.Endogenic and exogenic geology and their impact on landscape (allowance 2/0)
5.Rock weathering and soil formation (allowance 2/2)
6.Evaluation of parent rocks and their classification (allowance 2/2)
7.Regional geology of the Czech Republic (allowance 2/4)
8.Apllied geology and its usage in field work (allowance 2/0)
