Aims of the course:Aim of the subject is to provide students with the fundamental theoretical knowledge of management, teach them to apply main managerial methods and techniques of decision making in management and organisational development, organizing and leading people and performing managerial functions. Output knowledge thus include orientation in the development of the theory of management, knowledge of the methods of environment analysis, managerial functions and their contets. Student's skills are connected with basic application of particular methods of environment analysis and interpretation of achieved results including proposal of strategies, evaluation of the quality of organisational culture, motivation and control system. Students are competent to perform managerial functions on lower levels of management structure.
