Aims of the course:Students can determine causes of field crops and stored substrate damages. They know the morphology of developmental stages, bionomics and ecological requirements of individual pests and symptoms of a damage. They obtain the most actual information on methods of protection of field crops and stored products.
They are able to design optimal timing and recommend a control method of the each pest.

b.Cereal and corn pests
c.Root crop pests
d.Oil plant pests

f.Forage-plant pests

h.Medicinal herb pests

3.Stored product pest (allowance 2/2)

Generic competences:

-Ability of using integrated pest and disease management methods
-Ability to competently determine the origin of crop damage
-Competence to plan for pest management of farming subject
-Competences to decide on the need to control unwanted insects
-Knowledge of morphology, bionomics and ecology of field crop pests
