Aims of the course:Knowledge: information on plant protection and pesticide registration process,
phytopharmacy on the basics, phytopharmacology, toxicology and ecotoxicology, mechanical devices and machines to OR for treatment plants during vegetation
skills: technical skills to work with pesticides, determine the appropriate method of treatment for specific crops and habitats dose spray liquid sprayer testing and seed dressing
Course contents:
1.Principles of plant integrated production, organic farming - the position of chemical plant protection and pesticide use. Terminology. Development of pesticides. (allowance 2/2)
 
a.Schematic and graphic display, clarification of terms.

2.Principles of toxicology, ecotoxicology,residues - MLR. (allowance 2/2)
 
a.Basic categories, abbreviations and calculations

3.Division and classification of pesticides, biocides, GMO (allowance 2/2)
 
a.The Pesticide Manual - Internet links with European sites

4.Zoocides, Herbicides, Fungicides etc. Mode of action. (allowance 2/2)
 
a.FRAC, HRAC, IRAC.

5.Registration of pesticides, the registration test - biodissier,label,Pesticide Hazards, Signal words, the safe storage (allowance 2/2)

-Ability of using integrated pest and disease management methods
-Knowledge of plant protection legislation and the conditions of eligibility to the treatment with pesticides

-Skills of orientation in the Register of authorized plant protection products
-Skills of finding of suitable application device and method of application

Assessment methods:To obtain the credit mechanism is mandatory participation in exercises, the surrender of seminar work of fytofarmacie-biodosier. The course is concluded with an oral examination of fytofarmacie (50%), and application techniques (50%), three questions answered min at 50%
