Aims of the course:Gaining knowledge and skills of nomenclature system of inorganic, organic and natural substances. Practice on concrete examples. Practice of basic chemical calculations.
Course contents:
1.Nomenclature system of Inorganic Chemistry (allowance 0/4)
2.Chemical Equations (allowance 0/2)
a.The general chemical equation, stoichiometric coefficient of determination
b.Redox chemical equation, stoichiometric coefficient of determination

3.The composition of the solution (allowance 0/2)
4.Stoichiometric calculations (allowance 0/5)
a.Calculation according to the chemical equation
b.Stoichiometry neutralization titration
c.Stoichiometry redox titration

5.pH and its calculation (allowance 0/1)
6.nomenclature system of organic materials (allowance 0/8)
a.Hydrocarbons: alkanes, cyklolakany, alkenes, alkynes. aromatic hydrocarbons
b.Alcohols and phenols
d.Carbonyl compounds: aldehydes, ketones, hemiacetals
e.Carboxylic acids: mono-, di-and tricarboxylic acids, their salts
f.Functional derivatives of acids: esters, amides
g.Substitution derivatives of acid: hydroxy, oxo acids, amino acids
h.Derivatives of carbonic acid
i.Organic compounds of nitrogen and sulfur
j.Heterocyclic substances

-Ability in processing of chemical calculations by application of mathematical methods
-Competence for application of basic rules for compiling stoichiometric chemical equations
-Knowledge of concept of pH and its consequences for the behavior and properties of solutions
-Knowledge of the nomenclature of inorganic and organic substances
-Knowledge of trivial names and names of natural substances
