Aims of the course:Acquisition of basic knowledge and skills of practical work in the chemical laboratory.
Course contents:
1.Introduction, work safety, laboratory equipment, laboratory work methodology. (allowance 0/2)
2.Practical laboratory exercises general and inorganic chemistry. (allowance 0/12)
 
a.Basic techniques of analytical chemistry, laboratory quality: cation and anion evidence.
b.Principles of laboratory techniques of volumetric determinations: neutralization analysis.
c.PH and its measurement.

3.Practical exercises Laboratory of Organic Chemistry and Chemistry of Natural Compounds. (allowance 0/12)
 
a.Selected reaction halogenated, and nitrogen-hydroxy derivative.
b.Qualitative and quantitative reactions of carbonyl compounds and carbohydrates.
c.Selected reaction of carboxylic acids and their derivatives.

4.Credit test, the subject finally. (allowance 0/2)

Specific competences:
 
-Ability in processing of chemical calculations by application of mathematical methods
-Ability of performing of basic chemical laboratory methods
-knowledge about the practical way of quantitative and qualitative analysis of the sample
-Knowledge of the basic rules for determining the pH of solutions
-Skills of basic instrumental methods in the analysis of organic substances
