Aims of the course:Provide to the students basic overview about execution of the Civil service during environment protection. Teach the students details of execution of the Civil service according to the single legal act in field of environment protection. Present basic principles of environment protection to the students, which are used by Civil service. Provide to the student basic skills to work with administrative decision.

Learning outcomes and competences:
Generic competences:
-ability to apply knowledge

Specific competences:
-Ability to apply the administrative procedures in environment protection.
-Ability to determine and solve the selected activities permission process according to the requirements of the environment protection laws.
-Ability to understand the legal environmental rules link to the Civil Service performance.
-Knowledge of the basic structure of the administrative decisions in the environment protection.
-Knowledge of the basic terminology and requirements of the environment protection laws at the Civil Service performance.

Work placement:There is no compulsory work placement in the course unit.

Assessment methods:The course will successfully ended on the basis of credit, which will be given on the minimal attendance at the course seminars including at least 80 %. Another condition of the credit will be a seminar work and its defense. The examination of the course will consist of the two parts. The written part will include the test and the succesful passing the test will be the condition before the oral exam. The test have to be written at least 70 %. Examination test will contain 20 questions. Each question will be assessed by maximum of 5 points. The proportion of the final mark on the test and oral exam on the final assessment will be 70:30.
