Profile of the programme:"Vehicular traffic" is a broad field of study which provides university education aimed mostly at user-oriented sector. Students applying for admission to the program "Automobile transport" should have a BA degree in Agricultural Machinery or any other BA program with a general technical focus.
Key learning outcomes: Orientation in the problematic of combustion engines design and motor vehicles.
Ability to consider the utility of motor vehicles including evaluation of their operational characteristics.
Independent orientation in the problematic of design of different vehicles and their functional groups.
Ability to measure and evaluate the basic parameters of vehicle engines and motor vehicles.
Detailed knowledge of the concepts of electronic systems.
Ability to determine the optimal maintenance or repair system for motor vehicles.
Ability to design the technological project of service site according to given parameters.
Ability to solve the logistic problems and communicate with experts in given problematic.
Ability to orientate in problems of flows of energy, energy sources and their relations in connection with environmental issues.
Orientation in the problematic of environmental management system according to ISO standards.
Occupational profile:The graduates are able to work in top management in the sphere of agriculture, forestry, transport, communal services, in business and service organisations, in education and research.
Graduation requirements:Min. 120 ECTS, state final exam, defence of the master's thesis.
Access to further studies:Successful graduates may proceed to doctoral study programme.
