Learning outcomes and competences:
Generic competences:

Specific competences:
-Student can ask for and search detailed information in a foreign language and pass the information as well.

Assessment methods:Attendance at the seminars is mandatory. In the continuous assessment students have to gain a minimum of 70 points out of a maximum of 100 points to be awarded credit and be admitted to the oral exam. In the 5th and 10th week of the term students take a test that has 20 questions. Each test makes a maximum of 20% of the total marks. Students can gain a maximum of 20 points per each test. In the 14th week of the term students take a final credit test consisting of 60 questions in an electronic form. The test makes a maximum of 60% of the total marks. Students can gain up to 60 points at most. After the credit award students are admitted to the oral exam testing their speaking skills (fluency, accuracy, range of vocabulary, pronunciation). The exam lasts 15 minutes. Students have a dictionary at their disposal during the preparation time. The duration of the preparation is 15 minutes.
The minimum to pass is 60% out of the maximum 100%. Students are assigned a final grade A-F.
