Profile of the programme:Graduates will gain a general overview of the fields of Economics and Company Management, namely business and marketing experience focusing specifically on tourism. Graduates will have a very good overview of the legal framework set forth for tourism in the Czech Republic and they will be aware of the regional development context, they can prepare financial plans to ensure tourist related activities using a wide spectrum of resources, including the current funding possibilities available both in the Czech Republic and the European Union. Graduates will have very good communication skills in English. This field of study puts great emphasis on education within the wider context of tourism, graduates will have developed good managerial and economic understanding and they will be able to perceive and evaluate the impact of business activities on regional development, society and the environment.
Key learning outcomes: Graduates will gain theoretical knowledge in the area of economic and managerial sciences for their consequent application in tourism business

Graduates will gain ability to understand the legislation and specifics of tourism market

Graduates will be prepared to work in public or private sector focusing on tourism
Occupational profile:A professional or a general manager for the corporate or nonprofit organizations in the field of tourism. Graduates are well prepared for positions of assistant of top managers in international chains of hotel, restaurant etc., or managers of firm units like hotels, wellness and spa resorts, … Graduates could also find their position in local administrative bodies and non-profit institutions focusing on tourism, regional development, rural areas. Graduates of the program get the knowledge for effective management of business enterprises and other businesses.
Graduation requirements:Min. 180 ECTS, state final exam, defence of the bachelor thesis.
