Profile of the programme:Graduates will gain a general overview of the fields of Economics and Company Management, specific business and marketing competencies firmly founded in their knowledge of the legislative framework for business relationships in the Czech Republic. Graduates have knowledge of economic theory, management and marketing, finance, accouting and taxation, quantitative methods, IT and communication technologies etc. Graduates will be ready for independent and team work, they will have knowledge of statistical methods to process economic data with an emphasis on specific market research; graduates will have knowledge of modern electronic technology and its business opportunities. Graduates will have relevant language skills to work in an international environment, they will have goods skills for finding their way in a complex economic and legal context of business relationships using modern information resources.
Key learning outcomes: to develop students' knowledge of economic, managerial sciences for trade business
to make the students to know fundamentals of economic processes and their influence on society
to promote methods by which economic and managerial processes are monitored and controlled
to provide students with the personal skills and professional perspective for all firm's activities and decision making in trade relations
to promote quantitative techniques to give students modern and perspective tools for decision-making support
to prepare the graduates for specialised position in managment structure a advisory teams for trade chains
to prepare financial plans to ensure all activities using a wide spectrum of resources, including the current funding possibilities available both in
Occupational profile:A professional or a general manager for the corporate organizations in the field of trade and distribution. The graduates are perfect candidates for positions of product managers, branch managers, marketing manager and could assist to top level management in above mentioned fields. They can find job as independent specialist in marketing, public relations and advisory business. Graduates of the program get the knowledge for effective management of small business enterprises and other size businesses.
Graduation requirements:Min. 180 ECTS, state final exam, defence of the bachelor thesis.
