Profile of the programme:Agroecology focuses on applying ecological and environmental principles to agricultural land cultivation and on cultivating the rural landscape within the bounds of sustainable development.
 
Key learning outcomes: Graduates understand atmospheric processes related to growth and development of plants as well as the ability to analyze and rationally influence cycle of nutrients in the agriculture land.
They have ability to conceptually solve waste minimization in context of the environmental management systems together with the ability of orientation in environmental legislation.
They will have capability of orientation in water management problems and rural renewal problems.
They have ability to proceed in addressing the legal issues in practice in accordance with the legislation.
Graduates have professional knowledge within discipline of irrigation, drainage, and ground arrangement.
Graduates have ability for spatial data processing and obtaining the knowledge’s of basic breeding technique and technology principles in important kinds of farm animals will close the complete view of the discipline.
 
Occupational profile:The graduates are able to find jobs in the state and regional administration bodies, in departmental institutions and project organisations focused on landscape and territorial planning, complex land utilisation, erosion control, and on revitalisation of water systems.
Graduation requirements:Min. 120 ECTS, state final exam, defence of the master's thesis.
Access to further studies:Successful graduates may proceed to doctoral study programme.
