Specific arrangements for recognition of prior learning:There are no specific arrangements for recognition of prior learning. Profile of the programme:Graduates will have developed professional knowledge in public and state administration. Graduates will be able to use their specific knowledge and skills in the field of financing regional development, protecting the environment, public finance, and the knowledge of company economics and the operation of financial markets and institutions. Graduates will be able to apply their knowledge of theory and methodology in practice working for the above stated organizations. Public Administration graduates will have theoretical prerequisites to continue in their postgraduate studies reading Public Administration at the "mother" faculty or some other faculty offering postgraduate courses in Finance at other universities.
Key learning outcomes: to develop students´ knowledge of economical, managerial and social sciences in order that they may analyse and understand economic and social behaviour
to familiarise students with the principles and evolution of economic processes and their influence on society
to teach and promote methods by which economic and managerial processes are investigated, monitored and controlled in pubic administration and non-profit instituions
to teach and to promote quantitative techniques to give students modern and perspective tools for decision making support in public administration and economic policy
to provide students with the personal skills and professional perspective to enable them to be effective in in public administration
Occupational profile:Graduate is prepared for position in public administration and non-profit organizations. They could provide the advisory and consultancy services in connection with public administration and non-profit institutions including the general activities, funding and mutual cooperation with state policy. Graduates are prepared for position in firm to ensure the communication with state authorities. They could work as specialists, team member, assistants to top managers or manager of lower levels of managerial structure.
Graduation requirements:Min. 180 ECTS, state final exam, defence of the bachelor thesis.
Access to further studies:Successful graduates may proceed to master's study programme.
