Profile of the programme:The objective of the studies is to provide students with basic theoretical knowledge of and practical skills in information technology, automation of processes, systems engineering, simulation and optimization of systems and software engineering in order for the students to be able to work independently in the field. After finishing required study plan the graduates are qualified for immediate employment in practice and prepared for continuing their studies in doctoral programs.
 
Key learning outcomes: to develop knowledge of ICT and their applications in the fields of software engineering, technology processes and intelligent systems
to provide students with the personal skills enabling independent constructive activities in the fields of ICT deployment
to development and operation of information and intelligent systems
To take the responsibility for the development of personal as well as team professional potential
to get an overview, skills and expertise to enable to operate effectively in the field of information and control systems and information technolog
to get advanced knowledge and skills in computer science and automation and process control
 
Occupational profile:Graduates have the necessary knowledge, skills and competences to work independently in the area of process automation, development, design and operation of IS/ICT, solving engineering and economic applications of information and communication technologies and of automation and operation technologies, in IT departments of large production and non-production organizations responsible for the operation and development of ICT and IS/ICT, as designers, developers and administrators of management systems and structured subsystems in companies and organizations in accordance with legal and normative regulations in force, as designers, developers and administrators of management systems and structured subsystems for controlling and also modeling biological and technical processes, or as efficient leaders of development and business teams, companies and services in the tertiary sector of the national economy including educational and research institutions.
Graduation requirements:Min. 120 ECTS, state final exam, defence of the master's thesis.
Access to further studies:Successful graduates may proceed to doctoral study programme.
