Specific arrangements for recognition of prior learning:There are no specific arrangements for recognition of prior learning. The recognition procedure of the university is guided by the Act No. 111/1998 on Higher Education Institutions and the university "Study and Examination Rules". Further information available here.
Profile of the programme:Graduates will gain a general overview of the fields of Economics and Company Management and a deep knowledge of legislation set forth in the Czech Republic for social and legal areas. Graduates have knowledge of economic theory, management and marketing, finance, accouting and taxation, quantitative methods, IT and communication technologies etc. Graduates will have a basic overview of the field of management psychology and they are able to apply human resources activities in practice. Graduates will have a good knowledge of EU legal regulations and if needed they are able to search for information and work with professional information resources. This field of study puts emphasis on the general overview of graduates with regard to the organization and operation of the public sector.
 
Key learning outcomes: to develop students' knowledge of economic, managerial sciences with social emphasis
to make the students to know fundamentals of economic processes and their influence on society
to promote methods by which economic, managerial, labor and social processes are monitored and controlled
to provide students with the personal skills and professional perspective for personal and human resources activities of firm and other type instituti
to promote quantitative techniques to give students modern and perspective tools for decision-making support
to prepare the graduates for specialised position in managment structure a advisory teams in filed of human resources
to prepare human resources plans to ensure activities using possible suport of programs funding by the Czech Republic and the European Union budget
 
Occupational profile:Graduates can find their positions in human resources departments of large-size companies, could assist to human resources managers, could arrange independently the human resources and related activities of firms. They can also occupy the positions of specialist or member of teams in consultancy and advisory business. The similar position could be appropriate also in state or local administrative bodies and non-business unit.
Graduation requirements:Min. 180 ECTS, state final exam, defence of the bachelor thesis.
Access to further studies:Successful graduates may proceed to master's study programme.
