Aims of the course:The aim of the course is to provide students with the basic knowledge of Production/Operations Management with the focus on planning, managing, and controll of processes, and inventory management. Special attention is paid to operations planning and management and quality management. The course will enable students to acquire the basic knowledge of the principles of operational processes in production and service systems, and to adopt the techniques of planning, management and control of the processes within these systems.

77 to 88 points - "B" (very good plus)
65 to 76 points - "C" (very good)
53 to 64 points - "D" (good plus)
40 to 52 points - "E" (good)
Less than 40 points - "F" (failed).
