Specific arrangements for recognition of prior learning:There are no specific arrangements for recognition of prior learning. Profile of the programme:Students will gain knowledge in the field of traffic engineering, both functionally and in terms of its possible application in practice. The education is directly related to the research activities of institutions that participate in its implementation. Students - through writing their bachelor's theses - are directly involved in solving the scientific research tasks of the research institutes. All departments involved in teaching have well-equipped laboratories and up-to-date facilities, which are constantly updated. All teachers closely cooperate with specialists engaged in practice, thus the results of scientific research work are passed on. The taught courses are enhanced continuously with these findings.
 
Key learning outcomes: The graduates have ability to develop the abstract and exact way of thinking focused on solving of the technical problems.
The graduates have ability of independent analyzing the technical problems covering mechanics, hydromechanics, and thermomechanics.
The graduates have ability to apply the basic practical laboratory skills in the engineering practice.
The graduates have ability to implement the technical ideas into the form of project (engineering documentation including drawings).
The graduates have ability to solve the problems concerning optimization of power and energy consumption.
The graduates have ability of power transfer analysis in the machinery and mobile technologies.
The graduates have ability of independent analyzing and solving of the technical problems.
The graduates have ability to consider and quantify the influence of technologies and technical equipment on the environment.
 
Occupational profile:The graduates are able to find jobs in agriculture, engineering, construction industry, communal services, machinery distribution, repair services, and possibly also in the area of general services.
Graduation requirements:Min. 180 ECTS, state final exam, defence of the bachelor thesis.
Access to further studies:Successful graduates may proceed to master's study programme.
