Key learning outcomes: The graduates have wide theoretical knowledge in chemistry and biology of microorganisms, plants and animals.
The graduates know the theoretical fundamentals of biological, chemical and biochemical analytical methods, and evaluation of experimental data.
They also know mechanisms of laboratory analysis devices of biological, namely molecular biological and genetical, biochemical, chemical and physical
The graduates are able to work in all types of laboratories of both research and commercial character that make use of the given analytical methods.
They are able to deal in a qualified way with genetically modified plants.
They are able to find jobs in laboratories of university, scientific and research types and in laboratories of health institutions and state administr
Above all, they are also able to administer laboratories of plant and animal molecular biology and biotechnology in their organizational and technical
 
Occupational profile:A complex methodological and technological educational background of graduate in the field of biochemistry, physiology, genetics and molecular and cell biology allows applying it in all types of research institutes both the basic and applied biological, agricultural and biotechnology research and development in specialized clinical laboratories, in breeding plant and animals and in microbiology, food and pharmaceutical industries, as an employee of the laboratory of molecular biology, biochemistry and microbiology. They are not intended for independent scientific and research work. The qualification of graduates enables choosing their next profiling in Master Programmes focusing on molecular biotechnology.
Graduation requirements:Min. 180 ECTS, state final exam, defence of the bachelor thesis.
Access to further studies:Successful graduates may proceed to master's study programme.
