Profile of the programme:Engineering Agricultural Machinery is designed to attract and acquire knowledge about the management of production processes, the effective exploitation of machines and technical systems and methods of effective management of materials and energy, while respecting the stringent environmental requirements. Graduate control design, the theoretical rationale and method of operation of commonly used machines and technical equipment, basic principles of efficient mechanized and automated production, the rational reconstruction of technical equipment and the basics of management.
 
Key learning outcomes: Knowledge of processes in technical and biotechnical systems.
Ability of control technical processes.
Ability of effectively compose and operate the machines, engine plants and machine lines.
Ability of practical using knowledge of Quality Management, technical safety and labour protection.
Competence of practical performing Technical Audit according to standards.
Ability of technical condition machines, engine plants, motor-powered vehicles, means of transport and power assessment.
Competence of the technical value determination and machine, engine plants, motor-powered vehicles, means of transport and power assessing.
Ability of teamwork during solution of science and research and development and exploitation in the area of machines and technical equipment.
Ability of project operating.
Competence of performing technical economic analyses of capital project.
 
Occupational profile:The graduates are able to find jobs especially at the level of middle and top management of manufacturing companies, and in companies offering communal and commercial services. They are also able to work in the research sphere, in the state administration bodies, in education and consultancy. If they thus specialize during their studies, they can also acquire knowledge needed to start their own private entrepreneurial business in technical fields.
Graduation requirements:Min. 120 ECTS, state final exam, defence of the master's thesis.
Access to further studies:Successful graduates may proceed to doctoral study programme.
