Profile of the programme:Study of sixty follows the successful tradition of fishing specialization studies. It is based on science and zootechnical training base acquired in the bachelor program, animal husbandry, or in other similarly oriented programs. The course is made up of industry-průpravnými disciplines, which are based on profiling subjects, supplemented by a significant proportion of practical exercises, field trips, excursions and practice in high-end fishing operations. The study is the diploma thesis in the field of Fisheries, Hydrobiology or aquatic ecology.
 
Key learning outcomes: Master student of the field Fishery and Hydrobiology is ready for complex expert work in whole sphere of freshwater fishery.
Graduate is able to work independently in fresh water fish farming, fish feed and food processing, management of running water and protection of water environment.
At the same time is able to operate with legal framework including related legal rules.
Graduate obtain detailed knowledge and skills for scientific work in field as well.
 
Occupational profile:The graduates are able to find jobs in fish breeding, at the fisheries, in the management of running waters, in the food and nutrition industries, trade, fishing research, state administration and fishing education.
Graduation requirements:Min. 120 ECTS, state final exam, defence of the master's thesis.
Access to further studies:Successful graduates may proceed to doctoral study programme.
